Punjab has rolled out the CM Punjab T-Cash Card 2025, an all-in-one solution aimed at reshaping how citizens access transport, manage payments, and withdraw cash. The initiative reflects the government’s push to expand financial inclusion and modernize payment systems, combining travel access, retail shopping convenience, and ATM withdrawals into a single card. With integration into both public transport systems and the Mastercard network, the T-Cash Card marks a new phase in Punjab’s transition toward cashless services.

The T-Cash Card enables citizens to travel across Metrobus, Orange Line train, and other designated services without tickets or coins, offering free or discounted rides for registered users. By tapping the card at station gates, commuters can avoid queues and carry out hassle-free travel. Beyond transport, the card functions like a debit or prepaid card, allowing secure payments at supermarkets, retail outlets, and other participating merchants. It is also ATM-enabled, offering access to physical cash through the Bank of Punjab and other Mastercard partner ATMs, giving cardholders flexibility in situations where digital payments are not accepted.

Registration for the card can be completed online through the official T-Cash portal by providing CNIC, mobile number, and basic credentials. Once approved, users receive confirmation and activation details via SMS or email. After activation, the card can be used across Punjab’s transit systems, retail network, and ATMs with PIN-protected security. Officials highlight that this integration reduces the need for multiple cards or paper tickets, making daily transactions more convenient and transparent.

The government sees the T-Cash Card as a tool to reduce reliance on cash while improving access to digital financial services. It also supports broader efforts to encourage safe, traceable, and secure transactions. By merging transport benefits with retail and banking features, the program is designed to reach a wide segment of the population, including commuters, shoppers, and individuals with limited access to formal banking. As more citizens adopt the T-Cash Card, Punjab expects stronger participation in digital payments, increased efficiency in public transport, and wider trust in fintech-based services.
