The competition is backed by Google for Developers and integrates Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence capabilities, reflecting the growing emphasis on AI-native application development as the baseline expectation for competitive hackathon entries in Pakistan’s technology community. The prize structure, anchored at Rs2.5 million, makes it one of the more generously funded domestic hackathons announced this year, with the addition of swags and branded items adding further incentive for participation.
Registration links will be shared through the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication’s official WhatsApp channel on May 4, making it the primary channel for applicants to access the sign-up process.
