Punjab’s Special Education Department has implemented an e-transfer posting policy for teachers, calling it “another crucial step towards digital government.”
During a ceremony conducted at the Special Education Department, Minister for Special Education Department, Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq, inaugurated the e-transfer policy system. Ikhlaq praised the efforts of PITB and the Special Education Department in making the e-transfer policy a success.
According to the Minister, the digital posting system will help nearly 9,353 special education teachers, experts, and other workers.
During the summer break, the e-transfer system will process requests for transfers submitted by instructors in accordance with the SED Punjab’s annual schedule. Every vacant post would be subject to post-specific merit-based standards, according to the minister.
“It’s also a move toward convenience, transparency, and merit above all, while also reducing the culture of corruption, favouritism, and nepotism,” Ikhlaq stated, adding that instructors would be able to apply online for the position based on merit.
The teachers would receive their orders through email after they had been approved.
Punjab Minister for Higher Education, Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, Secretary Special Education Department, Muhammad Hassan Iqbal, DG Special Education Department, Pervaiz Iqbal Butt, department directors, and other senior officials were present during the launching event.
