Vivo has officially launched the Y500 in Pakistan, bringing a battery-focused mid-range device to a market that increasingly values endurance alongside display quality. The phone is available for pre-order from June 20 to June 26, with nationwide availability beginning June 27, 2026, in two storage variants: 8GB plus 128GB at Rs 99,999 and 8GB plus 256GB at Rs 109,999.

The Pakistan version of the Y500 is a 4G device rather than the 5G variant available in global markets, with different hardware specifications from its international counterpart. The chipset is the Unisoc T7300, a 6nm processor running at 2.2GHz that positions itself as comparable in performance to the MediaTek Helio G99. The headline feature is the 8100mAh BlueVolt battery, the largest ever placed in a Vivo Y Series device, which Vivo claims lasted 10 hours of continuous mixed usage in internal testing while still retaining 42 percent charge. The battery supports 44W wired charging, making recharge times practical despite the very large capacity. Vivo also backs the device with a six-year battery health guarantee and a 50-month smooth experience certificate, reflecting confidence in the hardware’s longevity.

The display is a 6.83-inch 1.5K Infinity HDR10+ AMOLED panel with 1.35mm thin bezels, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits in high brightness mode, and 5000 nits at peak brightness. Dual stereo speakers complement the screen for an audiovisual experience that punches well above the device’s price point. On the camera side, the rear setup consists of a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture paired with a 2MP bokeh lens, while a 32MP front camera handles selfies. The device does not include an infrared blaster, and Wi-Fi is 5GHz capable. The fingerprint scanner is embedded in the display.

The Y500 carries both IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings alongside a military-grade shockproof design, making it one of the more durable options in the under-Rs 110,000 price bracket in Pakistan. It runs Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 on top and includes a range of artificial intelligence features built into the software layer. After-sales support includes a 1+1 year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a six-month warranty on accessories, giving buyers a comprehensive coverage package at the time of purchase. The Y500 enters a competitive mid-range segment in Pakistan where battery life and display quality are increasingly the key purchase drivers, and its combination of an 8100mAh cell, a bright AMOLED panel, and IP69 certification gives it a differentiated positioning against rivals in the same price range.
