PTCL, in collaboration with Telco Integrators Pvt Ltd and Kacific Broadband Satellites Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to expand high-speed satellite internet, broadband, and voice services throughout Pakistan. This agreement is set to enhance digital connectivity by integrating PTCL’s infrastructure, Telco Integrators’ operational expertise, and Kacific’s satellite technology to deliver scalable and reliable connectivity solutions across the country.

With significant portions of the population lacking access to consistent broadband services, this partnership aims to bridge critical connectivity gaps, particularly in underserved and remote regions. PTCL, which operates the largest fiber optic network in Pakistan, including submarine cable systems that connect the country globally, will contribute essential infrastructure to support the initiative. Its involvement ensures the backbone needed to carry high-capacity, low-latency data across vast geographic zones, from urban centers to remote villages.

Telco Integrators will function as the local enabler for Kacific’s satellite services, overseeing deployment, integration, and technical support. By leveraging Kacific’s high-throughput satellite capabilities, the alliance will offer fast and stable broadband services to telecom operators, SMEs, and enterprises, even in the most remote areas. The collaborative model is focused on affordability, accessibility, and long-term sustainability in service delivery.

Aamer Ejaz, Group Vice President, Carrier Solutions Business at PTCL, stated that this partnership marks a significant step toward increasing digital inclusion in Pakistan. He emphasized that PTCL will extend its infrastructure to reach previously unserved areas, playing a vital role in the country’s socio-economic uplift through technology.

Christian Patouraux, CEO of Kacific, highlighted that the company’s mission to ensure no one is excluded from the digital landscape aligns well with this initiative. He noted that by working with PTCL and Telco Integrators, Kacific will help drive transformation through satellite-powered internet access, creating real impact for communities and businesses across the nation.

Imtiaz Ahmed Laghari, CEO of Telco Integrators, reinforced the company’s focus on transforming advanced satellite solutions into localized services with strong on-ground implementation. He pointed out that the alliance will significantly enhance the reach and reliability of internet services in areas where traditional connectivity has struggled to gain traction.

This partnership underscores a mutual goal of enabling digital transformation in Pakistan through satellite-backed broadband access. As demand for dependable internet continues to rise, particularly for education, health, e-commerce, and public services, these efforts are set to support national growth and digital equity. The collaboration between PTCL, Telco Integrators, and Kacific is expected to deliver impactful, long-term value by empowering both individuals and institutions with essential connectivity tools.
