PTCL and Ufone 5G have been honoured with the Diamond Recognition Award at the Employers Federation of Pakistan National Dialogue on Disability Inclusion and Awards Ceremony, one of the country’s most prominent platforms for recognising organisations that demonstrate meaningful commitment to inclusive workplace practices. The award reflects the PTCL Group’s sustained effort to build an environment where accessibility, equal opportunity, and a genuine culture of belonging are embedded into how the organisation operates rather than treated as peripheral corporate social responsibility commitments.

At the heart of the group’s inclusion journey is the conviction that diversity and equity are not simply organisational values to be stated in policy documents but active drivers of innovation, growth, and impact when put into practice. PTCL and Ufone 5G have worked to translate this conviction into concrete action, from creating accessible employment pathways for individuals with disabilities to developing internal programmes that foster a workplace culture rooted in respect and shared purpose. The Diamond Recognition Award from the Employers Federation of Pakistan acknowledges that this work has been consistent, structured, and measurable enough to stand out among peer organisations participating in the national dialogue on disability inclusion.

The Employers Federation of Pakistan National Dialogue on Disability Inclusion serves as an important annual forum for bringing together leading employers, policymakers, civil society representatives, and disability advocacy organisations to examine progress, share best practices, and hold the corporate sector accountable for meaningful inclusion. Recognition at this level carries significance beyond the award itself, as it signals to job seekers, employees, partners, and the broader community that an organisation has met a credible external standard for inclusive employment. For PTCL and Ufone 5G, which together form one of Pakistan’s largest telecommunications groups with a workforce spanning thousands of employees across the country, the Diamond Award underscores the scale at which inclusive practices are being implemented within the organisation.

The recognition is attributed by the group to the collective efforts of its people, who have shaped an internal culture that values every individual’s contribution regardless of ability. As Pakistan’s telecommunications sector continues to grow and evolve, the PTCL Group’s approach to disability inclusion sets a benchmark that demonstrates how large technology and connectivity organisations can lead on workplace equity while simultaneously delivering on their core mission of keeping Pakistan connected.
