Pakistan Software Export Board’s Tech Destination Pakistan initiative is hosting two back-to-back online sessions under its Global Acceleration and Innovation Network programme on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, bringing in United States-based industry leaders to equip Pakistan’s information technology and IT-enabled services companies with the knowledge and networks needed to scale internationally. The sessions form part of Cohort 2 of the programme and are designed specifically to address the practical questions that Pakistani technology firms face when attempting to access and sustain business in the United States market, from understanding client expectations around contracts and pricing to navigating how artificial intelligence is reshaping the logistics and information technology landscape globally.
The first session, running from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, is titled “The Power of Networking: Leadership through Volunteering at Non-Profits, Giving Back and Scaling Pakistan’s IT Exports Globally,” and will be delivered by Aamir Chalisa, Chief Operating Officer of Futurity First Insurance Group and OPEN Global, United States. The session draws on Chalisa’s experience at the intersection of corporate leadership and diaspora-driven network building, exploring how volunteering at non-profit organisations and cultivating genuine professional relationships across the Pakistani-American community and the broader United States ecosystem can serve as a practical route to expanding export opportunities for Pakistani technology firms.
The second session, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time, is titled “From Talent to Trade: Women, AI and Pakistan’s IT Export Boom,” and will be led by Amna Shah, Chief Financial Officer and Founder of AHS Consulting Inc., United States. This session addresses the convergence of two of the most consequential forces in Pakistan’s current technology export story: the growing participation of women in the country’s information technology workforce and the accelerating role of artificial intelligence in defining which firms and individuals secure international contracts. With Pakistan’s information technology exports surpassing USD 3.39 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, the session’s focus on how women and artificial intelligence together are shaping the export trajectory carries particular relevance.
Registration for both sessions is open at https://lnkd.in/dGF27hUz. The Global Acceleration and Innovation Network programme, delivered under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication through Pakistan Software Export Board, has been running structured sessions aimed at helping Pakistani technology companies understand global market requirements and build the advisory relationships needed to compete at an international level.
