At the Google AI Leaders Fellowship stage during the 27th ITCN Asia in Lahore, Mr Faisal Jeddy, CEO of PSEB, addressed a gathering of Pakistan’s tech community, highlighting the critical role of AI and digital transformation for the country’s technology sector. Speaking to an audience of industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, he underscored PSEB’s commitment to supporting businesses throughout their digital journey. The message reinforced the importance of creating a conducive environment for growth, where talent and innovation are backed by institutional resources and guidance.

Mr Faisal Jeddy stressed that Pakistan is at a pivotal moment in technology adoption. AI is not merely another trend but represents a significant shift in the global technological landscape, influencing industries ranging from software services to advanced manufacturing and digital commerce. For Pakistan, he emphasized that standing on the sidelines is not an option. With the right support, local startups, established tech firms, and emerging innovators can not only participate but also shape the future of AI adoption in the region. PSEB, he noted, is committed to ensuring that these entities have access to the tools, mentorship, and platforms needed to thrive.

The PSEB CEO highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to streamline access to global partnerships, cloud services, and AI-based infrastructure for technology companies. By facilitating connections between local innovators and international technology leaders, PSEB aims to position Pakistan as a hub for AI-driven solutions. He also noted the importance of skill development in AI, urging both academia and industry to invest in equipping the next generation of professionals with practical competencies. This approach, he explained, will ensure that Pakistan not only consumes AI technologies but also contributes to their creation and deployment on a global scale.

During his address, Mr Faisal Jeddy encouraged tech leaders to adopt a proactive mindset toward emerging technologies. He emphasized that creativity, problem-solving, and technical expertise must be combined with strategic support from organizations like PSEB to maximize impact. By fostering an ecosystem that integrates mentorship, funding pathways, and collaborative platforms, Pakistan can accelerate its participation in the AI revolution and enhance its competitiveness internationally.
