It’s mid-February, which means phone manufacturers are preparing to unleash a slew of new models ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
China’s Oppo is one business that hasn’t released a real flagship in a long time, but that is about to change. The Oppo Find X5 Pro, the company’s next smartphone, will be released on February 24 – four days before MWC, which begins on February 28.
Oppo will divulge all of the specs regarding the Find X5 Pro when it launches, but we do know that it will have the company’s new MariSilicon X neural processing technology, which should significantly enhance nighttime photography and video.
We also know that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, with Hasselblad cameras created in collaboration.
Finally, Oppo released some photographs of the gadget, which show a shockingly innovative take on the contemporary smartphone, with an all-white or all-black glossy back and an odd-shaped camera bump that arises naturally from the back’s surface and houses a triple rear camera module.
The launch event will be streamed live on Oppo’s website at 11am GMT.
