National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi has announced the launch of its latest acceleration program in collaboration with Orbit Startups, backed by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan (MoITT) and Ignite – National Technology Fund. The program aims to accelerate the growth of promising startups from Karachi and beyond by offering milestone-based grants, global mentorship opportunities, and access to proven growth playbooks that prepare participants for investor engagement and market expansion. The initiative comes at a time when Pakistan’s startup ecosystem continues to evolve rapidly, driven by innovation, youth entrepreneurship, and increasing global interest in the country’s digital potential.

The NIC Karachi x Orbit Startups Acceleration Program offers selected startups the chance to receive up to PKR 5 million in milestone-based grants. Beyond funding, the program emphasizes practical growth and scalability through mentorship from international experts and hands-on guidance tailored to each company’s stage of development. Participating startups will gain access to Orbit’s extensive global network, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, strategic partnerships, and entry into international markets. This initiative aligns with Ignite’s mission to support innovation-driven enterprises and nurture local talent capable of competing on a global scale.

Eligibility for the program focuses on startups that have already established an operational base in Karachi with at least five full-time team members. Applicants are required to have a live product in the market, early revenue generation or a strong business pipeline, and a clear roadmap for using the grant to drive measurable growth. Preference is given to companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and those demonstrating commitment through full-time founders. The application deadline for this opportunity is October 15, 2025, and interested startups can apply through the official portal here.

NIC Karachi, located within LuckyOne Mall and operated by LMKT, continues to play a pivotal role in fostering Pakistan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem under the umbrella of Tech Destination Pakistan. Through initiatives like this, the center bridges local innovation with global expertise, encouraging startups to build sustainable business models and scale effectively. The partnership with Orbit Startups reflects a shared commitment to supporting Pakistan’s next generation of entrepreneurs, helping them transform their ideas into impactful businesses that contribute to the country’s digital growth.
