Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) has formalised a partnership with SI Global Solutions Pvt Ltd through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a strategic collaboration aimed at expanding opportunities and building capacity for Pakistan’s rapidly growing independent workforce. The MoU was signed by Ibrahim Amin, Chairman of PAFLA, and Noman Said, Chief Executive Officer of SI Global Solutions Pvt Ltd, bringing together two organisations with complementary strengths in the country’s digital economy ecosystem.

The partnership combines PAFLA’s established mission of empowering freelancers across Pakistan with SI Global Solutions’ expertise in information technology services, digital transformation, and skills development. Together, the two organisations aim to create a structured pathway through which freelancers can access better tools, training, and global market opportunities. SI Global Solutions, which has operated in Pakistan’s IT sector for over two decades, brings with it a network of industry connections and technical infrastructure that can directly support PAFLA’s community of independent professionals looking to scale their work on international platforms.

Pakistan has consistently ranked among the world’s fastest-growing freelance economies, with hundreds of thousands of independent professionals contributing to the country’s digital export revenue. Despite this momentum, freelancers in Pakistan have historically faced challenges around professional development, access to structured training, and formal industry linkages. The PAFLA and SI Global Solutions MoU addresses these gaps head on, with a focus on innovation, skills enhancement, and opening doors to global clientele. The collaboration signals a broader trend of formal institutional partnerships taking root in Pakistan’s freelancing sector, as the ecosystem matures from an informal workforce into an organised contributor to the national economy.
