Karachi’s artificial intelligence community is set to come together on Friday, April 3, 2026, for AI Bethak, an invite-only gathering designed for the curious and the builders — the practitioners, enthusiasts, and innovators who are shaping Pakistan’s growing artificial intelligence landscape. Hosted by S A Basharat Ali, the event operates under a registration approval model with limited seats, ensuring an intimate and focused environment where attendees can engage meaningfully rather than simply observe from the sidelines.

The agenda for AI Bethak is structured around three core pillars: live discussions on where the world of artificial intelligence is heading, hands-on demonstrations of major tools currently making waves in the industry, and open networking sessions that connect participants with peers and practitioners from across the city’s technology ecosystem. Live audience questions form a central part of the format, giving attendees direct access to the conversation rather than a one-way broadcast experience. The event has already attracted 37 confirmed attendees through its Luma registration page, with interest continuing to build ahead of the April 3 date.

The AI Bethak format reflects a broader trend emerging in Pakistan’s technology community, where smaller, curated gatherings are increasingly favoured over large-scale conferences for the quality of conversation and connections they enable. With artificial intelligence becoming an increasingly critical area of focus for startups, enterprises, and individuals across Pakistan, events like AI Bethak serve as an important forum for grounding global developments in local context. Those interested in attending can request an invitation through the official event page at lu.ma/i65uwgxf, subject to host approval and seat availability.

Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
