NED University of Engineering and Technology has announced a new career enhancement certification in motion graphics and video editing, aimed at equipping students and professionals with practical digital media skills. The programme, offered through its academy platform, is designed to meet the growing demand for creative and technical expertise in Pakistan’s expanding digital content and media industry.

According to the details shared by the university, the two month course will be conducted entirely online, making it accessible to participants across different cities. Classes are scheduled to begin from April 4, 2026, and will take place on weekends between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. The programme carries an investment of Rs. 12,000 per month and is also creditable in undergraduate degree programmes at NED University, subject to institutional rules. Interested applicants can register through the official portal at https://academy.neduet.edu.pk/registration-form, while additional information and updates are being shared through a dedicated WhatsApp group available at https://chat.whatsapp.com/Eb7XTMjhkYZ1ragaxFDQgH.

The course content focuses on both foundational and advanced aspects of motion graphics and video editing. Participants will be introduced to Adobe After Effects interface and workflow, followed by core animation techniques such as keyframing, easing, and motion paths. The training further explores working with layers, masks, and blend modes, along with compositing techniques including green screen removal and motion tracking. As the programme progresses, learners will gain exposure to advanced animation concepts such as expressions and three dimensional layers, enabling them to produce more dynamic and professional visual content. Additional modules cover the use of effects and plugins, sound design integration, and exporting projects across multiple formats suitable for web, broadcast, and film production.

In addition to technical instruction, the programme also incorporates project organization and workflow management practices to help participants streamline their creative processes. This practical approach reflects the increasing importance of efficiency and adaptability in digital production environments, where content creators are expected to handle multiple aspects of post production. The inclusion of audio editing and visual effects techniques further aligns the course with current industry requirements, where multimedia storytelling continues to gain importance across advertising, social media, and entertainment sectors.

The initiative highlights NED University’s continued focus on skill development and industry relevant education in Pakistan’s technology and creative sectors. As demand for digital content creation continues to grow, such training programmes provide opportunities for students, freelancers, and professionals to enhance their capabilities and remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
