Mobilink Bank has further strengthened its role in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in Pakistan’s technology and startup ecosystem by graduating 18 women-led startups under its Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator Programme. The initiative, positioned as an industry first, focuses on unlocking the economic potential of women entrepreneurs by providing them with structured incubation, mentorship, and access to financial and digital resources. With this latest cohort, the total number of startups graduating from the programme has reached 31, reflecting a growing pipeline of women led ventures entering Pakistan’s digital economy.

The incubator programme is designed to equip participants with practical skills in digital entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business scaling, enabling them to build sustainable and future ready enterprises. Over the course of the programme, startups undergo training that combines technical knowledge with real world application, allowing founders to refine their business models and prepare for market entry. The graduating cohort demonstrated a strong emphasis on sustainability and social impact, with ventures addressing challenges such as plastic waste, food waste, and access to affordable hygiene solutions, highlighting the increasing alignment between innovation and environmental responsibility.

At the conclusion of the programme, several startups were recognised for their innovation and impact. Green Plastics secured the Best Startup Award and received seed funding of Rs 1 million for its solution focused on converting organic waste into recyclable materials. Ecogen and EcoFlow were named winners of the Innovation Challenge, each receiving Rs 500,000 in funding to scale their solutions addressing food waste management and sanitation challenges in underserved communities. These awards not only provide financial support but also signal investor confidence in women-led innovation within Pakistan’s emerging startup landscape.

From a broader technology perspective, the WIN Incubator reflects a shift toward inclusive innovation, where digital skills, financial access, and entrepreneurship are increasingly interconnected. Mobilink Bank’s continued investment in such initiatives highlights the importance of integrating gender inclusion into Pakistan’s digital transformation strategy. As the country seeks to expand its startup ecosystem and increase participation in the global digital economy, programmes focused on empowering women entrepreneurs are expected to play a key role in driving sustainable growth, innovation, and economic resilience.
