Mobilink Bank and BizB, a prominent marketplace in Pakistan, have joined forces to elevate financial inclusion and bolster women micro-entrepreneurs nationwide. Through this collaboration, BizB becomes a ‘Brand Ambassador Organization’ for Mobilink Bank, aiming to provide accessible financial services and support to female entrepreneurs in the thriving e-commerce landscape.

Under the partnership, women micro-entrepreneurs affiliated with BizB’s W-Empower initiative gain access to a platform for buying and selling preloved apparel, along with the full suite of features offered by the Dost App, ensuring seamless and convenient transactions.

As part of the VEON group, a global digital operator, Mobilink Bank serves nearly 160 million customers across six dynamic markets, representing 7% of the world’s population.

BizB is at the forefront of revolutionizing Pakistan’s fashion industry with sustainable practices, empowering urban women economically and environmentally, and reshaping fashion consumption for a conscious, inclusive future.

Driven by its commitment to advancing gender equality, Mobilink Bank has already empowered over 18,000 women through this partnership. The bank plans to further amplify its impact, aiming to support an additional 3,000 new entrepreneurs every month in the first quarter of 2024.

Atta-ur-Rehman, Chief Branch Business Officer at Mobilink Bank, expressed pride in supporting BizB’s W-Empower initiative, emphasizing the importance of providing financial services and promoting digital inclusion to foster economic empowerment and a more inclusive society.

Sehrish Raza, CEO and Founder of BizB, hailed the collaboration with Mobilink Bank as a strategic move to empower women through financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. She underscored the partnership’s commitment to fostering economic and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry.

Mobilink Bank’s dedication to gender equality extends beyond financial services, with initiatives like the Women Inspirational Network (WIN) empowering and upskilling thousands of women nationwide.

Through collaborative efforts with like-minded organizations, Mobilink Bank is driving inclusivity initiatives, equipping women with the tools to excel in finance and beyond.
