MiTE-TMUC has entered into a strategic partnership with Golootlo, marking a significant step toward creating new opportunities for its students, faculty, and leadership. The two organizations formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to develop initiatives that will enrich academic experiences and strengthen industry connections. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to building pathways for knowledge exchange, practical learning, and community engagement.

The MoU signing ceremony brought together prominent representatives from both sides. Attendees included Prof Dr Huma Baqai, Rector of MiTE; Muhammad Farooq Asghar, CEO of Decagon Technologies; Dr Asad Hussain, Director Marketing & Planning at MiTE; Robin Stephen, Registrar of MiTE; and Kashif Amin Hamidani, Head of Business Development at Golootlo. Their presence underscored the importance of the partnership and the value both institutions place on fostering strong industry-academia linkages.

Through this collaboration, MiTE-TMUC and Golootlo intend to work jointly on projects and initiatives that enhance the educational journey of students, providing them with exposure to industry practices and market trends. Faculty members are expected to benefit from access to industry insights, networking opportunities, and collaborative programs that will enable them to bring real-world perspectives into the classroom. Leadership teams from both organizations will also explore avenues for joint ventures and knowledge-sharing forums, designed to create lasting value for their communities.

Golootlo, known for offering Pakistan’s largest discount platform, brings to the table its vast network and expertise in customer engagement and service innovation. Combined with MiTE-TMUC’s academic excellence and focus on holistic education, the partnership holds the potential to deliver unique value to all stakeholders involved. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, this MoU sets the stage for programs that not only equip students with market-ready skills but also encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
