Qazi Nauman, Chief Executive Officer of Digitech Infra Associates, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term, contesting from the Associate membership category. Nauman brings more than three decades of experience as a technology professional and entrepreneur, having worked across government organizations, multinational companies and startups, and has remained involved in industry development, talent building and networking throughout his career.
His manifesto opens with a call for stronger industry synergy, proposing to connect members, companies, academia, government and technology communities in a way that draws these groups closer together rather than leaving them to operate separately. His second point focuses on meaningful collaboration, aiming to create opportunities for members to work together on projects and initiatives rather than compete against one another in isolation. On talent, his third commitment centers on bridging the gap between academia and industry, addressing a mismatch he sees as a recurring challenge for companies trying to hire job ready graduates.

The remaining two points of his platform address inclusivity and future readiness. Nauman wants to ensure that startups, small and medium enterprises, and established companies all have a voice within PASHA, rather than having the association’s priorities shaped primarily by its largest members. His final commitment centers on positioning the industry for the future through artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, emerging technologies and broader digital transformation efforts.
Nauman’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations.
