Shaikh Ayaz Ali, Chief Executive Officer of KNOATIV, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term, contesting from the Associate membership category. Ali brings more than ten years of global business experience, having built and scaled technology businesses while also serving in board level roles across multiple industries, and he has framed his candidacy around stronger member representation, greater business opportunities, meaningful policy engagement, and a technology workforce prepared for the future.
His manifesto opens with a commitment to deliver a superior member experience, proposing to strengthen engagement through better communication, practical member initiatives, and easier access to knowledge, networks, partnerships and business opportunities, with particular attention to Associate Members who he says are often underserved. His second point focuses on enabling digital growth and global market access, aiming to help member companies strengthen their digital capabilities, improve global visibility, and become more market ready, while connecting them with international buyers and partners capable of helping them scale.

The remaining two points of his platform address policy engagement and talent development. Ali wants to create stronger channels for member feedback and align industry needs with meaningful policy priorities, advocating for measurable outcomes, transparent progress, and practical solutions to the barriers that have historically held businesses back. His final commitment centers on building industry ready talent for the future, proposing stronger collaboration between industry and academia to develop practical, market ready skills in artificial intelligence, software, digital commerce and cybersecurity.
Ali’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations.
