Jazz is leading Pakistan’s digital revolution, accelerating its transformation into a digital-first ServiceCo while advancing financial inclusion and widespread digital adoption. With a record-breaking investment of PKR 53.9 billion in 2024—marking a 46.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase—the company is reshaping the way Pakistanis connect, transact, and engage in the digital economy.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Jazz recorded an impressive 16.6% YoY revenue growth, primarily driven by a 53.1% increase in digital revenues. This surge reflects the success of its fintech, entertainment, and enterprise solutions, which have significantly expanded the company’s digital footprint. As part of its DO1440 strategy, Jazz’s 4G user base grew by 15.3% YoY to 50.6 million, increasing 4G penetration to 70.7%. The number of multiplay customers also saw a 24.6% YoY increase, reinforcing Jazz’s vision of an integrated digital ecosystem that serves users beyond traditional connectivity.

A major component of Jazz’s transformation is its push toward a cashless, digital-first economy. JazzCash remains at the center of Pakistan’s financial inclusion efforts, boasting 19.7 million active users and facilitating PKR 2.8 trillion in transactions—a staggering 63.3% YoY growth. The platform processes over 143,000 digital loans daily and supports a vast network of more than 350,000 merchants and 122,000 agents across the country. JazzCash is making digital transactions increasingly accessible, driving Pakistan toward a future where cashless payments become the norm. Commenting on Jazz’s strategic direction, CEO Aamir Ibrahim emphasized the company’s commitment to digital transformation, stating, “Jazz is shaping Pakistan’s digital future as a ServiceCo, moving beyond connectivity to drive financial inclusion, cloud solutions, and AI-powered services. With JazzCash, Tamasha, Garaj, SIMOSA, and FikrFree, we are building a Connected, Cashless, and Customer-Centric ecosystem—humbly empowering over 100 million people every month with seamless digital solutions.”

Beyond telecom services, Jazz has successfully expanded into various digital domains, establishing itself as a leader in multiple industries. Tamasha, Pakistan’s leading streaming platform, attracted 17.1 million monthly active users (MAUs), streaming over 250 days of live cricket, including the ICC World Cup and PSL, and expanding its coverage to include the English Premier League and the Paris Olympics. The AI-powered lifestyle platform SIMOSA experienced a 30% YoY growth, reaching 19.0 million MAUs, solidifying its position as a market leader in digital personal care. Another key initiative, FikrFree, Pakistan’s first AI-driven insurance and healthcare marketplace, has gained 1.4 million users and sold 790,000 policies since its launch. Meanwhile, Garaj, Jazz’s localized cloud platform, saw 74% business growth in 2024, now serving over 500 enterprises with secure, scalable cloud solutions tailored for the Pakistani market.

Jazz’s investment of PKR 53.9 billion in 4G expansion, digital innovation, and AI-driven solutions demonstrates its long-term commitment to bridging Pakistan’s digital divide. The company’s strategic infrastructure partnership with Engro Corporation further strengthens its asset-light ServiceCo model, ensuring sustainable and scalable digital growth in the years ahead. As Pakistan’s largest digital operator, Jazz continues to push the boundaries of financial inclusion, digital innovation, and technological transformation. By advancing a cashless economy and empowering businesses and individuals with seamless digital solutions, Jazz is laying the foundation for a fully connected and digitally empowered Pakistan.
