Indus AI Week celebrations are gaining momentum with the launch of its flagship initiative, Problem2Product, an online product buildathon organized in collaboration with Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan and Pakistan Software Export Board under the patronage of Shaza Fatima Khawaja. The initiative aims to support aspiring founders, developers, and innovators by guiding them through the journey of transforming ideas into structured, market ready digital products.

Problem2Product has been designed as an interactive online workshop that takes participants through the four essential stages of product development: ideate, design, build, and launch. Organizers state that the buildathon focuses on helping participants refine problem statements, validate solutions, and develop practical execution roadmaps. The sessions will be broadcast live on YouTube, allowing nationwide participation while ensuring structured engagement through curated workshop materials and live QnA access for registered attendees.

The mentor lineup features Ms. Aisha Yasin, Ms. Areej Kamal, Mr. Talha Khan, and Mr. Daniyal Hassan, who will guide participants through product thinking, design frameworks, and go to market strategies. Each mentor brings experience in product development and innovation, offering insights aimed at strengthening practical understanding rather than just theoretical learning. The format encourages collaboration, structured experimentation, and real time feedback to help participants align their ideas with user needs and industry realities.

By hosting Problem2Product during Indus AI Week, the organizers aim to reinforce a culture of innovation and applied technology development within Pakistan’s growing digital ecosystem. The initiative reflects a broader push to nurture early stage builders and create accessible pathways for aspiring entrepreneurs to enter the technology space. Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come.
