Ignite SAP Xcelerate Opens Five Month SAP Training With Job Placement Support

Excellence Delivered (ExD) has opened applications for the Ignite SAP Xcelerate Program, a five-month hands-on SAP training course funded by Ignite, the National Technology Fund of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, according to a post on ExD’s LinkedIn page. The programme offers practical SAP experience on a live S/4HANA server and a free attempt at a global certification exam. It also includes visa and international job placement support, along with soft skills and foreign language training. Applicants have to pay a commitment fee of $100, and they can apply through the registration link shared in the post. The post does not give a start date, a closing date, or the cities where training will take place.

The programme appears to be part of Ignite’s SAP skills initiative, which the government announced in December 2025. ProPakistani reported then that Ignite’s request for proposals described a plan to train 2,500 young Pakistanis in high-demand SAP certifications, in two batches of 1,000 and 1,500 trainees, with training centres in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. The plan also included soft skills, CV building, interview coaching, and introductory German and Arabic language courses to prepare participants for jobs abroad. Ignite set a target that 80 percent of SAP-certified trainees should secure employment, locally or internationally, and a project review committee including Ignite, SAP Pakistan, the contractor, and a German partner was to monitor compliance.

Ignite has said the initiative responds to a mismatch between local skills and global demand. It said Pakistani youth face limited access to international markets and persistent skill gaps, while demand for SAP-certified professionals remains strong, and that shortages of skilled workers in countries such as Germany, Japan, and the Netherlands make the market favourable. The programme was also presented as a legal route to work overseas that discourages illegal migration. SAP software is used by companies to manage finance, supply chains, manufacturing, and human resources, and S/4HANA is the current version of its core enterprise system, so practical experience on a live server is the main attraction for trainees who want to work as consultants or implementation specialists.

ExD, which is based in Lahore, describes itself as an SAP Platinum Partner and says it has more than 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, consulting, and education. It has also run SAP training for years, with a certified SAP training academy at its head office and plans announced in 2014 for training centres in several cities. The post does not say whether the $100 commitment fee is refundable, what happens to it if a trainee completes the course, or how many seats are available in this round. It also does not say how selection will work or what proportion of previous trainees have found jobs abroad, so applicants will need to read the terms on the application page before committing. The programme’s strength will be judged by how many trainees pass the certification exam and move into jobs, which is the measure Ignite has set for itself.
