Warid’s sale not going to affect Wateen

 

WTCL Corporate and Personal Relations Manager Salman Mazhar said that Warid’s auction wouldn’t make any impact on Wateen Telecom as both companies have been running operations completely with different business interests. Abu Dhabi Group that owns both Warid and Wateen Telecom is only selling shares of Warid Telecom.

 

Adobe System Inc. Hacked – Source Code for Major Products Stolen and User Data breached

 

Adobe System Inc. will soon announce that it has been hacked and credit card records of nearly three million user accounts have been breached. Hackers have stolen source code of a number of software titles including ColdFusion Web application platform and also possibly Acrobat family of products. And it is believed that it is the same group of hackers that have earlier this year hacked LexisNexis, Dun & Bradstreet and Kroll along with several other major data aggregators. 

 

HTC One Beats iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Bagging T3 Gadget of Year award

 

HTC One smart phone has not only won the highly popular T3 Magazine’s Gadget of the Year award for 2013 but also T3 Design and Phone of the Year award beating iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4 in an award ceremony organized by UK based technology magazine in London.

 

Twitter’s IPO Filing

Twitter has finally submitted its initial public offering forms which details the scale of its audience and its revenues for the first time. Twitter has over 200m monthly users while LinkedIn has around 240m users but Facebook’s beats both with 1.2bn users.
