Noman Hassan, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Geekinn and Resourceinn, has announced his candidacy for a seat on the PASHA Central Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2028 term. Hassan brings more than eleven years of experience in the technology sector and has previously served as a member of PASHA’s Startup and Entrepreneurship Committee, in addition to holding a Vice President role earlier in his career and being an alumnus of FAST.
His manifesto opens with a commitment to strengthen the PASHA Startup Hub, proposing to connect startups with customers, investors, mentors, talent and global markets so that emerging companies can build businesses that are both sustainable and scalable rather than dependent on short term traction. His second point focuses on building what he calls Pakistan’s product economy, aiming to create a stronger ecosystem for SaaS, AI and other technology product companies to build from within Pakistan, scale into international markets, and generate recurring revenue from abroad rather than relying solely on service based exports.

His third commitment centers on positioning artificial intelligence as a competitive advantage rather than a cost saving tool alone, with a goal of enabling Pakistani companies to adopt AI, build AI native products, and increase productivity so that the industry competes globally on innovation rather than price. On policy, he wants to strengthen industry advocacy around tax certainty, banking and foreign exchange reforms, investment protections, intellectual property protection, employee stock ownership plans, digital infrastructure, and consistent policies that would make Pakistan more competitive as a destination for technology businesses.
His final point addresses turning PASHA’s international relationships into tangible outcomes, proposing to build structured access to international customers, partners and markets so that the association’s global connections and presence translate into measurable exports and concrete business opportunities for members. Hassan’s candidacy comes as PASHA members prepare to vote on September 17, 2026, for the ten open seats of the Central Executive Committee, with two additional reserved seats for women entrepreneurs to be filled the following day by the newly elected committee. Based on the Election Commission’s regional structure, voting is expected to be coordinated across Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, where PASHA maintains its secretariat and regional offices. Voting will take place through secret ballot between 9 am and 5 pm, with original CNIC or passport required for identity verification at polling stations. The complete final voters list for the 2026 elections is available on the PASHA final voter list, and more information about Hassan’s professional background can be found on his LinkedIn profile.
