Wateen Telecom has entered into a strategic connectivity partnership with Nayatel to support the expansion of Nayatel’s network across Pakistan. The agreement was signed by Mr. Aqeel Khurshid, CTO of Nayatel, and Mr. Adil Rashid, CEO of Wateen Telecom, in a ceremony attended by Mr. Wahaj Siraj, CEO of Nayatel, along with senior leadership from both organizations. Through this collaboration, Wateen will provide high-capacity Layer-2 connectivity to enable seamless intercity and metro network integration nationwide. This infrastructure is designed to help Nayatel consistently deliver reliable, high-speed internet services to customers across Pakistan. Leveraging Wateen’s extensive fiber backbone and resilient metro-to-metro network, the partnership will offer ultra-high bandwidth exceeding 100 Gigs, along with secure, PTA-compliant connectivity supported by end-to-end managed services.

The collaboration highlights a shared commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s digital infrastructure by providing scalable and future-ready network solutions. By combining Wateen’s robust technical capabilities with Nayatel’s growing network, both companies aim to enhance broadband services for residential and enterprise users alike. The partnership is expected to meet the rising demand for dependable internet access while supporting increasing data consumption trends across the country.

Through this agreement, Wateen and Nayatel are creating a foundation for high-capacity, reliable network services that prioritize speed, security, and operational efficiency. The focus on Layer-2 connectivity and managed services ensures that networks are resilient, well-integrated, and compliant with PTA standards. This alignment also supports the delivery of consistent, high-quality digital services across multiple regions, reinforcing the broader goal of improving Pakistan’s connectivity ecosystem.

The strategic partnership demonstrates how leading telecom providers in Pakistan are addressing growing network demands by leveraging advanced fiber infrastructure and collaborative technical expertise. With Wateen providing nationwide high-capacity connectivity and Nayatel expanding its service reach, the collaboration strengthens the country’s digital capabilities and positions both companies to support evolving consumer and business requirements in an increasingly connected environment.
