Transworld emerged as the fastest fixed internet service provider ISP in Pakistan during the second half of 2025, according to the Ookla Speedtest Connectivity Report. The company recorded a median download speed of 34.86 Mbps and a median upload speed of 30.5 Mbps based on Speedtest data collected between July and December 2025.

While Transworld led in raw speed performance, PTCL Flash Fiber was awarded the Best Fixed Network among ISPs in Pakistan during the same period. PTCL Flash Fiber achieved a Speedtest Connectivity Score of 61.73, reflecting strong overall performance across speed, browsing, and user experience metrics measured through Speedtest Intelligence data.

In gaming performance, PTCL Flash Fiber also delivered the best gaming experience among ISPs, while Zong topped the rankings in the mobile gaming category for 2H 2025.

City-level performance data showed Faisalabad recording the fastest median mobile download speed at 24.13 Mbps among Pakistan’s most populous cities. Meanwhile, Islamabad led in fixed broadband performance, posting the fastest median fixed download speed at 24.57 Mbps.

The findings highlight continued investment and competition among Pakistan’s fixed broadband providers as demand for reliable, high-speed internet grows across residential and business users nationwide.
