A massive plantation mangrove project will get underway in Karachi through the subsidiary National Management and Consultancy Services (Private) Limited of TPL REIT Management Company Limited.
The Cantonment Board Korangi Creek (CBKC) has approved the master plan that its subsidiary submitted for the mangrove project, according to a stock filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
The company will now start building the project’s infrastructure and will properly submit the building plans for Cantonment Board Korangi Creek approval.
The development is a mid-to-high-rise creekside project with a number of residential, commercial, and hospitality towers as well as a boardwalk and a strip of shops. The project will include all of the modern conveniences, including parks, play areas, theaters, hospitals, schools, and grand mosques.
The project aims to achieve LEED® Gold certification and is envisioned as an environmentally responsible and sustainable development. With strong physical and visual ties to the creek, the development will eventually become a thriving urban area along the creek. The project will establish itself as a location that embraces and integrates a diverse range of people, cultures, and locations into a thriving mixed-use neighborhood. It will serve as a role model for economic, environmental, and social sustainability by creating a balanced mix of community, commercial, and natural systems.
SSH International, a renowned architecture and engineering consultant with numerous accomplished projects throughout the MEA region, created the project’s master plan.
