Free online orientation sessions for one-year Undergraduate Diploma programs are being held across two days this weekend, giving prospective students the opportunity to explore programme offerings, interact directly with faculty, and gather all necessary information before submitting an application. Notably, no prior registration is required to attend, and the sessions are open to all interested individuals regardless of their current qualification level. Google Meet links for each session will be shared ahead of the respective timings, and participants are encouraged to come prepared with questions to help them make an informed decision about which programme best suits their goals. The sessions are open to candidates holding qualifications ranging from Intermediate and Advanced Level to a Diploma of Associate Engineering, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, Master of Philosophy, or Doctor of Philosophy.
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, the orientation covers four programmes running together in a single session from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, spanning Artificial Intelligence, Generative Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering. Sunday, April 5, 2026 features a more extensive schedule with sessions distributed across the morning and afternoon. Software Engineering and Information Technology are covered jointly from 10:30 am to 11:15 am, followed by Data Analytics from 11:15 am to 12:00 pm. Automotive Technician and Textile Science and Technology both run from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, while Computer Network and System Administration is scheduled from 11:00 am to 11:45 am. Cyber Security Essentials runs from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm, and Chemical Engineering is covered from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Food Science and Technology occupies the noon slot from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by Graphics Designing from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm, Digital Marketing from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and Animation, Visual Effect and Multimedia from 1:45 pm to 2:30 pm.
The orientation events are designed to give candidates a comprehensive preview of each programme’s scope and career relevance before they formally apply, removing the uncertainty that often accompanies major educational decisions. Given the breadth of disciplines on offer, from technology and engineering to creative fields and applied sciences, the sessions cater to a wide range of professional interests and academic backgrounds. With no registration barrier in place and the convenience of fully online delivery, the initiative lowers the threshold for anyone still weighing their options, offering a direct channel to ask questions and receive clarity from faculty before committing to a particular course of study.
