Warid enjoys the best paying or highest ARPUed customers in Pakistan’s cellular industry.  Warid is generating more revenues than Zong whereby Zong has almost double the subscribers of Warid. 

Sony Drops the Veil off its Economical Ware

Sony took the wraps off of its new flagship Xperia Z2 smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It’s a bit difficult to distinguish from its predecessor, the Z1, at least from a physical perspective, but it features a nice upgrade in specs to warrant the new title. Sony also introduced the Z2 Tablet, which is basically the Xperia Z2 in tablet form, and the mid-range M2 handset.

Telecom Imports Depression, May Leave Govt. Depressed 

KARACHI: Ahead of next generation technologies auction, legal mobile phone import is showing continuous decline in this fiscal year that can affect anticipated 3G/4G penetration in Pakistan, say experts.
In addition, robust dollar value against the rupee remained the major suppressor for the telecom sector’s imports as the import of this sector declined by 25.88%.
