Jazz, Pakistan’s number one 4G operator and largest internet and broadband service provider, has partnered with Sinch AB (publ), a global leader in cloud communications and software for mobile operators, to ensure that messages received by Jazz subscribers are safer, more secure, spam-free, and only sent to the intended recipient.

Sinch’s managed SMS Firewall and application-to-person (A2P) service for domestic and international messaging traffic gives the operator extensive threat analytics and management capabilities, bolstering Jazz’s position in the booming A2P messaging market.

“Sinch has demonstrated over the previous couple of years that they can offer value to our clients and our business,” said Ali Naseer, Jazz’s Chief Business Officer. “We are excited to take the next step in this cooperation and fully leverage Sinch’s unique combination of carrier-grade solutions for operators, market-leading position in A2P messaging, and access to a worldwide enterprise customer base wanting to engage with our subscribers,” says the company.

“In the end, our subscribers will benefit from this contract since they will be better protected from spam and fraudulent messages, which will lead to enhanced customer satisfaction,” he added.

“Creating a high-quality direct connection between corporations and subscribers lays the path for the future of A2P messaging, allowing brands and end-users to engage on a channel where rich messaging and two-way chatbot discussions deliver a great customer experience.”

Sinch uses its expertise as an industry leader in A2P messaging to assist operators in generating additional revenue, monetizing assets, and reducing fraud. Sinch converts traffic from the world’s most well-known companies into money. For additional information on Sinch’s A2P and SMS Firewall features, click here.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
