The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has unveiled the Online College Admissions System (OCAS), a transformative initiative simplifying the application process for Intermediate programs across more than 750 public colleges in Punjab.

Aspiring candidates residing in Punjab can now seamlessly apply for Intermediate-level admissions through OCAS. The process is remarkably straightforward, requiring applicants to furnish their matriculation roll number, the associated Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), and the year of passing.

One notable feature of this initiative is the affordable application processing fee of just Rs. 25, payable at any branch of the Bank of Punjab. This alleviates the need for candidates to make physical visits to colleges or invest in purchasing a prospectus.

OCAS extends the convenience of submitting admission forms online, thereby eliminating the necessity for students to embark on arduous journeys to other cities for form submissions. Furthermore, the prospectus of government colleges can be conveniently downloaded in PDF format from the online portal, and it’s completely free.

For those interested in applying online for Intermediate programs in Punjab’s public colleges, the official website, ocas.punjab.gov.pk/, serves as a user-friendly platform. This system has been designed with the primary objective of rendering the admission process more accessible and efficient for students spanning the entire province.
