Right To Play Pakistan, Standard Chartered’s Futuremakers initiative, and Women Win have jointly launched a programme called Girls Got Goals, aimed at supporting young women and girls across Pakistan through dedicated employability and entrepreneurship pathways. The initiative is designed to address the specific barriers that young women face in accessing economic opportunities, equipping them with practical skills, structured guidance, and the support systems needed to build financially independent futures. Applications are currently open and can be submitted by scanning the QR code shared in the official announcement, with the deadline set for April 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

The programme offers two distinct pathways depending on a participant’s age and educational background. The Employability Pathway is open to women between 19 and 30 years of age who have completed at least an intermediate level of education, providing structured training and career-readiness support to help young women enter and navigate the formal job market. The Entrepreneurship Pathway casts a wider net, welcoming young girls and women between 17 and 35 years of age who have completed at least a middle school education, that is up to the 8th grade, recognizing that entrepreneurial potential does not require advanced academic credentials and that financial independence can be pursued through self-employment and business creation as much as through formal employment.

The collaboration between three organizations, each bringing a distinct area of expertise, reflects an understanding that meaningful change in women’s economic participation requires more than skills training alone. Right To Play brings its experience in youth development and community engagement, Standard Chartered’s Futuremakers programme contributes institutional backing and a global network focused on youth economic inclusion, and Women Win adds its specialized focus on advancing the rights and agency of girls and young women through sport and economic empowerment. Together, the Girls Got Goals initiative represents a coordinated effort to create tangible pathways for young women in Pakistan who see themselves as future entrepreneurs or professionals but need structured support to turn that ambition into reality.
