PTCL and GCU have signed an agreement to provide premium ICT services.

At a ceremony held on the GCU campus in Lahore, Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government College University (GCU).


PTCL would provide exclusive pricing packages for premium ICT services, including seamless telephone and internet access, to students, alumni, and staff members under this MoU.


“We are happy to work with GCU and contribute to the education sector by giving students and staff members with affordable packages to experience smooth ICT service,” said Nauman Durrani, Executive Vice President (EVP) Sales, PTCL.

“Through this agreement, PTCL aims to deliver cost-effective connectivity solutions with the most up-to-date ICT services, empowering students to focus on their ideas and put them into action for a better Pakistani future. We hope to develop educational institutions across Pakistan, such as GCU, through such partnerships, as they play a critical role in moulding students for nation-building,” he added.


“We are happy at this relationship with PTCL that will enable our education system to efficiently provide all stakeholders with access to quality ICT services,” stated Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi (T.I), Vice-Chancellor, Government College University, Lahore.

“As technology advances, better connectivity has unquestionably become a must for academic performance. Using PTCL’s extensive infrastructure and experience, we will be able to meet our growing demand for internet and telecom services, which will help our students and teachers in a variety of ways,” he added.


PTCL has always been in the forefront of providing the most cutting-edge and innovative solutions to meet Pakistan’s ever-increasing need for world-class internet services.
