Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), working under the patronage of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, has opened applications for its Skill Bridge Apprenticeship Program. This flagship initiative is designed to equip fresh IT graduates with the practical knowledge, technical skills, and professional exposure required to excel in Pakistan’s growing IT industry. The program serves as a bridge between academic learning and the professional world, enabling young professionals to transition smoothly into their careers while contributing to the country’s digital transformation goals under Tech Destination Pakistan.

The Skill Bridge Apprenticeship Program will run for six months on a full-time basis and offers selected participants a monthly stipend of PKR 30,000. Through structured training modules and industry placement opportunities, the program aims to build a strong foundation for future IT leaders who can contribute to Pakistan’s global competitiveness in technology and innovation. Applications for the program are open until October 25, 2025, and interested candidates can apply through skills.techdestination.com.

Under this initiative, apprentices will gain hands-on experience through collaboration with leading IT firms operating across Pakistan. The program emphasizes mentorship, technical skill enhancement, and real-world exposure to professional environments. This experience is expected to significantly boost employability and help young graduates develop the confidence and competence required to work on national and international technology projects. PSEB’s Skill Bridge is not just a learning opportunity but a strategic effort to strengthen the talent pipeline that supports the country’s expanding IT ecosystem.

Supported by key figures from the IT sector including Amir Anzur, Raza Ahmed Sukhera, Syed Asim Gilani, and Sidra Jalil, this initiative reinforces PSEB’s ongoing commitment to advancing Pakistan’s digital workforce. It aligns closely with the objectives of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication to develop a skilled, future-ready workforce capable of meeting the demands of emerging technologies. By linking academia with industry, Skill Bridge ensures that graduates are not only technically proficient but also equipped with the adaptability and problem-solving mindset needed in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

Through programs like Skill Bridge, PSEB continues to champion Pakistan’s vision for Digital Pakistan by nurturing local talent and fostering a knowledge-driven economy. By empowering youth with practical experience and guidance from industry experts, PSEB is playing a pivotal role in shaping a generation of professionals ready to contribute to both local and global technology markets.
