Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has unveiled its latest initiative, e-Rozgaar 2.0, aimed at equipping Pakistani youth with essential digital skills. The program will offer in-person training in high-demand fields such as web development, digital marketing, content writing, and graphic design.

To expand its reach, PITB has partnered with The Learning Hub in Gujranwala and City College in Multan to establish new e-Rozgaar centers. These centers will provide affordable training opportunities to young individuals, enabling them to pursue online freelancing and other digital careers.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted the program’s vision, stating, “Our goal is to empower young Pakistanis with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy.” By providing structured and hands-on training, e-Rozgaar 2.0 aims to contribute to Pakistan’s digital transformation and create opportunities for economic growth.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
