Registration for the February auction of fancy vehicle numbers in Punjab is now open through the e-Auction mobile application and web portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board PITB in collaboration with the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department. Interested citizens can register online until March 2 to bid for their preferred vehicle numbers from the convenience of their homes, covering motorcycles, motor cars, and commercial vehicles.

The e-Auction platform ensures complete transparency, providing real-time details of successful bidders on both the app and web portal. This digital approach eliminates the need for physical presence, streamlines the auction process, and reduces administrative overhead, making it faster and more efficient for both citizens and authorities.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted that the introduction of the e-Auction system has transformed a traditionally manual process into a modern, technology-driven solution. He emphasized that the initiative not only improves public service delivery but also reflects PITB’s commitment to digital governance, empowering citizens with convenient and secure access to government services.

The digital auction system represents a significant step in integrating technology with public administration, making the process of acquiring fancy vehicle numbers more accessible and transparent for residents of Punjab. Citizens are encouraged to register promptly to participate in this innovative online auction.
