Pakistan’s GreenTech Startups to Shine at COP29

A group of ten innovative Pakistani GreenTech startups is set to showcase their groundbreaking solutions at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. These startups were selected from a pool of 120 applicants through a rigorous process.

The Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, in collaboration with Ignite, is spearheading this initiative to highlight Pakistan’s commitment to sustainable development and climate action. The top three startups will represent the country on the global stage.

Among the selected startups are Khaity Technologies, SAWiE Ecosystem, Growtech Services, EcoEdge AI, ezBike, VLEKTRA Electric, Creeco, Zyp Technologies, Concept Loop, and NanoDrop. These startups address a range of pressing environmental challenges, including climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable energy, waste management, and water conservation.

These startups are backed by prominent organizations such as NUST, Pak Launch, Ahya, Sarmayacar, i2i Ventures, Zayn Venture Capital, USAID, and CFA. By leveraging their expertise and resources, these startups are poised to make a significant impact on global sustainability efforts.

Through their innovative solutions and dedication to environmental sustainability, these Pakistani startups are demonstrating the country’s commitment to a greener future. Their participation at COP29 will provide a platform to showcase their achievements and attract international attention and investment.
