Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, has announced that Pakistan will send 2,000 skilled IT professionals to Japan. During a media briefing at the OPF headquarters, the minister highlighted the crucial role of overseas Pakistanis as ambassadors for the country and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting them in every possible way.
Hussain revealed that overseas Pakistanis would soon benefit from online facilities for property transfers. Initially available to expats in the US, this service will be expanded to Pakistani expats in the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Italy, and Spain. This new system will enable overseas Pakistanis to transfer property remotely, addressing a significant source of complaints within the expatriate community.
Furthermore, the minister assured that property transfer complaints would be resolved within 20 days, enhancing the support system for overseas Pakistanis and streamlining the process for those living abroad.
