Pakistan is making a strong return to GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology and startup exhibitions, taking place from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. After earning the title of “Tech Destination of the Year” and signing six major Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in 2024, Pakistan’s renewed presence at this year’s GITEX reflects a clear statement of intent — to strengthen its footprint in the global digital economy and to showcase the country’s expanding innovation ecosystem on an international platform.

The country’s participation is being jointly led by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA), and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), with support from the Pakistan Embassy in the UAE. A diverse delegation comprising leading IT exporters, emerging startups, and technology innovators will represent Pakistan at the event. Collectively, they aim to demonstrate how Pakistan’s tech ecosystem is evolving — blending technical expertise, entrepreneurial talent, and export readiness to attract foreign investors and partners. GITEX Global 2025 brings together over 180 countries, 6,000 exhibitors, and more than 180,000 tech professionals, making it an unparalleled opportunity for Pakistan’s IT industry to network, collaborate, and engage with global stakeholders.

Pakistan’s pavilion this year is set to emphasize the country’s progress in areas such as artificial intelligence, software development, cloud solutions, fintech, and cybersecurity. By showcasing the innovation-driven initiatives of its startups and enterprises, the delegation hopes to position Pakistan as a hub for quality technology exports and digital solutions. The representation at GITEX is also expected to build on the momentum achieved in 2024 when Pakistan’s delegation secured multiple international partnerships and business leads. This continuity highlights the commitment of government bodies and industry associations like PSEB and P@SHA toward expanding Pakistan’s global digital presence and supporting its IT firms in entering new markets.

Officials from PSEB have noted that GITEX Global provides a vital platform for Pakistan’s IT companies to connect with potential clients, investors, and collaborators from across the world. For many participating firms, it represents not only a chance to showcase technical capabilities but also to learn from global trends, explore export opportunities, and establish long-term strategic relationships. With growing recognition of Pakistan’s skilled workforce, competitive costs, and robust innovation culture, the country’s participation at GITEX 2025 is poised to reflect the strength, ambition, and maturity of its IT sector.

Pakistan’s delegation to GITEX Global 2025 stands as a collective effort to strengthen international cooperation and highlight the country’s potential as a key digital player in the region. Through coordination between the Ministry of IT, PSEB, P@SHA, TDAP, and Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in the UAE, this year’s presence aims to further advance the Tech Destination Pakistan vision and reinforce the message of #ThinkTechThinkPakistan on the global stage.
