Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) continues to strengthen the country’s position in the global technology landscape, highlighting the transformative potential of Generative AI for local companies. During the 7th GAIN Online Awareness & Engagement Session, industry and technology leaders explored how Pakistani firms can leverage AI to move beyond traditional services and enter high-value, product-driven innovation.

The session was led by Silicon Valley AI pioneer Mohammad Anwar Khan, who outlined a practical three-step roadmap for companies seeking to capitalize on the growing global AI market: Skill Up, Internal Pilot, and Productize. Participants learned how investing in structured training programs, nurturing youth talent, and piloting AI initiatives internally can create scalable AI products that meet international demand. The discussion emphasized that Generative AI is not just a technological trend, but a long-term opportunity capable of reshaping Pakistan’s IT export profile.

PSEB stressed that by equipping young professionals with AI skills and encouraging companies to adopt systematic pilot-to-product approaches, Pakistan can accelerate its transition from service-based projects to innovative, high-value AI solutions. The board’s efforts reflect a commitment to fostering digital capabilities that align with global AI adoption while creating competitive advantages for Pakistani businesses in international markets.

The session also highlighted the importance of government and private sector collaboration in scaling AI readiness. By strategically combining mentorship, skill development, and structured adoption plans, Pakistani companies can position themselves at the forefront of the next wave of global technology transformation. PSEB encourages stakeholders to follow upcoming GAIN sessions for continued insights into AI, digital innovation, and policies shaping Pakistan’s digital future.
