The National Information Technology Board (NITB) is advancing Pakistan’s digital governance by rolling out orientation sessions for its secure official communication platform, Beep, targeting federal ministries and divisions. These sessions are designed to facilitate seamless onboarding and ensure that government entities can effectively adopt the platform, strengthening the security, reliability, and efficiency of official communication.

Beep provides ministries with a centralized, secure channel for internal and inter‑departmental communication, reducing reliance on unsecured messaging apps and traditional email systems. During the orientation sessions, NITB experts guide staff through the platform’s features, including encrypted messaging, group coordination tools, and administrative management, ensuring that every division can integrate Beep into its official workflow smoothly.

Government departments are encouraged to participate in these sessions to streamline communication processes and reinforce confidentiality in official correspondence. Ministries and divisions can schedule orientation sessions directly by contacting NITB at:  beep@nitb.gov.pk. By adopting Beep, departments will not only improve internal coordination but also align with the federal government’s broader push for digital transformation, secure communication, and efficient service delivery.

NITB’s initiative reflects a strategic commitment to GovTech and digital governance, demonstrating how technology can modernize public sector operations while maintaining data security and operational transparency. The orientation program ensures that every ministry can transition confidently to smarter, more secure official communication using Beep.
