National Vocational and Technical Training Commission and Huawei Pakistan have opened applications for Tech Essentials, a training course designed to give participants hands-on knowledge of Huawei Cloud Services, artificial intelligence fundamentals, and cloud architecture and deployment. The program, offered under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, also includes essential soft skills training alongside official Huawei certifications for those who complete the course.
The course is designed to make participants job ready with in demand technical skills relevant to the current cloud computing and AI job market. Applications for Tech Essentials are open until August 7, 2026, with interested candidates able to apply by scanning a QR code included in the program’s official promotional materials.
The announcement follows an earlier teaser from National Vocational and Technical Training Commission previewing a new phase of its Huawei partnership focused on artificial intelligence and cloud computing. That earlier phase of the NAVTTC-Huawei collaboration had already delivered measurable results, training 2,000 young people with roughly 1,703 trainees earning international certifications and 70 percent of graduates going on to secure employment following their training.
Tech Essentials continues to operate under the broader Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, reflecting the government’s ongoing effort to expand technical skills training for young Pakistanis through structured partnerships with established global technology companies. With applications now open and a defined deadline in place, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission appears set to build on the earlier cohort’s employment outcomes as it moves forward with the next phase of its Huawei backed training initiative.
