National Database and Registration Authority has announced a mobile registration service for Pakistani nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates, with a dedicated visit scheduled to Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday, 15 February 2026. The mobile facility will operate from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Pakistan Centre, enabling citizens to apply for new identity documents, request renewals, or process amendments without the need to travel long distances. The initiative is designed to improve accessibility for overseas Pakistanis seeking official documentation services.

According to the announcement, NADRA officials will be accompanied by representatives from the Pakistan Consulate to ensure smooth processing and on site facilitation. The authority has also encouraged applicants to use the Pak Identity mobile application, which allows overseas Pakistanis to apply for NICOP and other identity documents digitally. By using the app, applicants can complete submissions remotely and avoid extended waiting times. Those who prefer in person services may continue to visit Pakistani consulates in Dubai and Abu Dhabi or approach NADRA offices during visits to Pakistan. The mobile registration drive reflects a continued focus on improving service delivery for citizens living abroad.

The Ras Al Khaimah visit forms part of broader modernization efforts within NADRA aimed at strengthening identity verification and registration systems. Recently, the authority introduced Nishan e Pakistan, an online verification platform that provides government departments and regulated private sector organizations with secure, authenticated identity checks through a centralized digital portal. This system is expected to simplify verification procedures and reduce reliance on manual documentation processes, particularly in sectors that require frequent identity confirmation.

Officials highlighted that banks, telecom operators, and financial institutions stand to benefit significantly from these digital upgrades, as they traditionally depend on time intensive verification methods. By digitizing registration, subscription, and access mechanisms, NADRA aims to reduce paperwork, enhance transparency, and accelerate service delivery. The initiative is aligned with Pakistan’s Digital Economy Enhancement Project, which focuses on strengthening national digital infrastructure and expanding access to government services. Through mobile outreach programs and digital platforms, NADRA continues to advance technology driven public service models tailored to the needs of overseas Pakistanis.
