Myco, the leading web3 video streaming platform, has secured the digital streaming rights for six prestigious ICC tournaments over the next two years. This move underscores their commitment to providing high-quality live sports and their innovative “watch & earn” model.

Cricket fans can look forward to an exciting lineup that includes the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean and USA, the ODI Champions Trophy scheduled for early 2025 in Pakistan, and Women’s T20 & ODI World Cups for the Pakistani region. Additionally, North American fans can enjoy these matches on a subscription basis through Myco’s partnership with the leading US sports channel, Willow TV.

This acquisition builds on Myco’s successful streaming of the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9, with Season 10 already secured for next year. The platform’s journey in Pakistan began with the ICC World Cup 2023, which not only paved the way for further acquisitions but also showcased the potential of their watch & earn model. Myco has also streamed various international tournaments in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Somair Rizvi, Myco’s Co-founder & CEO, expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re thrilled to bring the excitement of the ICC World Cup to cricket fans across Pakistan and North America through our partnership with Willow TV. This reaffirms our commitment to providing access to top sporting events while empowering viewers to earn through our innovative model.”

With over 10 million users, Myco boasts a diverse library featuring over 200 live sporting events, 1,000 watch hours, and 50+ original productions. Extensive partnerships with over 2,000 creators and influencers, along with a thriving user-generated content section, solidify Myco’s position as a leader in the digital streaming landscape. This acquisition positions Myco as a major player in the cricket streaming scene, offering fans a unique way to engage with the sport they love.
