Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, Mobilink Bank, has achieved a significant milestone by winning the ‘Digital Nations Video Creativity Award’ at the M360 APAC event in Seoul. The award recognizes the bank’s groundbreaking campaign, “The Invisible Heirs,” which highlights the issue of women’s inheritance rights in Pakistan.

Hande Asik, Group Director of Communications and Strategy at VEON, accepted the award on behalf of Mobilink Bank. The campaign’s innovative approach, which includes an online Inheritance Calculator, aims to empower women by providing them with information about their legal entitlements.

Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, Interim CEO of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to using technology to drive positive social change. “This award is a testament to our dedication to creating a lasting impact in the communities we serve,” he said.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
