Boltay Huroof is set to host “Accessibility Beyond Barriers 2026,” a conference focused on promoting inclusive education and addressing challenges faced by students with disabilities. Scheduled for October 22, 2026, the event will take place at the JS Auditorium, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi City Campus, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The initiative aims to bring together educators, students, persons with disabilities, advocates and industry representatives to discuss accessibility and the need for more inclusive learning environments.

The conference will provide a platform for participants to exchange perspectives on barriers that students with disabilities encounter in educational settings. These challenges can include inaccessible learning materials, limitations in classroom infrastructure, communication difficulties and a lack of appropriate support services. Addressing these issues requires coordinated efforts from educational institutions, teachers, policymakers and organisations working to improve access to education. Events such as Accessibility Beyond Barriers can help bring these concerns into discussion and encourage stakeholders to consider practical approaches to making education more accessible.

Inclusive education involves creating learning environments in which students with different abilities can participate meaningfully in academic activities. This may include adapting teaching methods, providing accessible educational resources, improving physical access to campuses and incorporating assistive technologies where appropriate. Digital accessibility is also an important consideration as educational institutions increasingly use online platforms, electronic learning materials and digital communication tools. Ensuring that these resources can be used by people with different accessibility needs can help reduce barriers to participation and improve access to educational opportunities.

The participation of persons with disabilities and advocates is particularly relevant to discussions about accessibility because their experiences can help institutions understand the practical challenges that existing systems may create. Educators and industry representatives can also contribute perspectives on developing more inclusive practices, improving support mechanisms and identifying opportunities for collaboration. By bringing these groups together, the conference seeks to encourage dialogue around the responsibilities of institutions and the steps needed to make education more accessible.

Boltay Huroof has invited interested individuals to express their interest in attending the event. According to the organisation’s announcement, participation is by invitation, and submitting the registration form does not automatically confirm a seat. The organisers will review submitted details and confirm participation through the form process. Prospective attendees should therefore complete the required information and wait for confirmation before assuming their attendance has been approved.

Accessibility Beyond Barriers 2026 is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, at the JS Auditorium, IBA Karachi City Campus. The session will run from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and focus on the challenges and opportunities associated with inclusive education for students with disabilities. Interested individuals can submit their details through the organiser’s registration and participation form to request a seat. The event will provide an opportunity for stakeholders from education, disability advocacy and industry to engage in discussions about improving accessibility and supporting more inclusive learning environments.
