The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), through its School of Natural Sciences (SNS), is set to organize the 5th International Conference on Recent Trends in Statistics & Data Analytics on November 26–27, 2026. The conference will bring together researchers, academicians and industry practitioners to discuss recent developments in statistical methods, data science and artificial intelligence (AI). The event aims to provide an academic platform for sharing research findings, exchanging ideas and examining emerging approaches to data-driven analysis across different fields.

The conference comes at a time when statistics and data analytics are playing an increasingly important role in research, business operations and technological development. Organizations and academic institutions are using data-driven methods to identify patterns, evaluate outcomes and support decision-making. Statistical techniques remain central to interpreting complex datasets, while advances in data science have expanded the ability to process large volumes of information and extract meaningful insights. By bringing these areas together, the conference will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss research methods and their applications in different professional and academic settings.

Artificial intelligence is also expected to be a key area of discussion at the event. AI technologies increasingly rely on statistical modelling, data processing and analytical methods to identify patterns, generate predictions and support automated systems. Researchers are examining how these technologies can be applied to scientific research, industry challenges and practical problems involving large and complex datasets. Discussions on the relationship between AI, statistics and data analytics can help researchers understand emerging techniques, assess their applications and identify areas that require further investigation.

The event is intended for researchers, university faculty members, students and professionals working in statistics, data science, analytics and related disciplines. International academic conferences provide opportunities for participants to present their work, receive feedback and establish connections with researchers working on similar topics. Such interactions can also support the exchange of research methodologies and encourage collaboration between academic institutions and industry professionals. The conference’s focus on recent trends is expected to create opportunities to discuss evolving analytical approaches and their relevance to contemporary research. The 5th International Conference on Recent Trends in Statistics & Data Analytics is scheduled for November 26–27, 2026. Interested participants can register through the official online registration form here. The registration deadline is October 20, 2026, the same date as this announcement. Prospective attendees should consult the registration form for applicable requirements and further event information.
