KERNO Enterprises has officially inaugurated its headquarters and the United Arab Emirates’ first enterprise IT hardware manufacturing facility at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), marking a significant milestone in the country’s ambitions to strengthen its advanced technology and manufacturing capabilities. Located within the innovation-focused economic zone operated by Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), the facility is designed to locally manufacture enterprise-grade computing solutions that support the growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digital infrastructure. The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior government officials and industry leaders, highlighting the strategic importance of the project in advancing the UAE’s knowledge-based economy and positioning the country as a regional technology manufacturing hub.

The newly established manufacturing facility has an annual production capacity of more than 60,000 enterprise technology products, including artificial intelligence servers, high performance computing systems, edge computing servers, enterprise servers and advanced data storage solutions for mission critical applications. By designing, developing and manufacturing these technologies within the UAE, KERNO aims to strengthen technological self reliance while reducing dependence on imported enterprise hardware. The facility also incorporates modern assembly lines, quality assurance processes and testing systems to ensure that products meet international performance and reliability standards required by businesses, governments and data centers operating in increasingly digital environments.

The project aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy of expanding high value manufacturing industries while supporting digital transformation across both the public and private sectors. Government officials described the investment as an important contribution to national efforts aimed at developing sovereign technology capabilities, enhancing industrial competitiveness and creating an ecosystem that attracts innovation driven businesses. The availability of locally manufactured enterprise hardware is expected to support the country’s rapidly growing artificial intelligence sector, cloud computing industry and digital economy by providing secure, high performance infrastructure built within the region. The initiative also complements the UAE’s long term economic diversification strategy, which prioritizes advanced industries, technology innovation and knowledge driven growth.

KERNO stated that selecting Dubai Silicon Oasis as the location for its headquarters and manufacturing operations reflects the area’s reputation as a leading technology and innovation hub offering advanced infrastructure, access to technical talent and a collaborative business ecosystem. The company believes the facility will help meet increasing regional demand for enterprise computing solutions while supporting organizations that require secure and locally developed digital infrastructure. As governments and enterprises continue investing heavily in artificial intelligence, data centers and high performance computing, the establishment of the UAE’s first enterprise IT hardware manufacturing facility represents an important step toward strengthening regional technology production capabilities and reinforcing the country’s position as a global destination for advanced digital industries.
