JazzWorld has been awarded Best InsureTech at the inaugural Insurance Association of Pakistan and Pakistan Society of Actuaries International Insurance Conference 2026, recognizing the company’s role in advancing digital insurance and financial inclusion across the country. The award was presented during a conference session that examined how integrated digital service providers are shaping the future of insurance and financial protection in Pakistan.

Speaking during a session titled From Telco to ServiceCo, Building Pakistan’s Next Digital Financial and Insurance Ecosystem, JazzWorld Chief Financial Officer Farrukh H. Khan outlined how the company’s shift into an intelligence led service provider is helping expand access to financial protection by embedding insurance directly into everyday digital experiences. He pointed to Pakistan’s significant protection gap, noting that insurance penetration remains below one percent of GDP, and said making protection more accessible, affordable and easier to understand remains central to closing that gap. He added that the future of insurance lies in integrating coverage naturally into digital services people already use, rather than treating it as a separate standalone product.

JazzWorld’s broader ecosystem spans connectivity, financial services, digital platforms, enterprise solutions and insurance, operating through businesses including Jazz, JazzCash, Tamasha, Garaj, FikrFree, Apna Clinic and TPL Insurance. The company’s digital insurance platform, FikrFree, currently offers more than 30 insurance products through partnerships with eight insurance providers, using AI powered recommendations and a simplified digital interface to make discovering, selecting and purchasing insurance easier for customers. JazzWorld’s recent acquisition of TPL Insurance adds underwriting expertise and insurance product development capabilities to this existing digital distribution and payments infrastructure, combining both sides of the insurance value chain under one company.

The Best InsureTech award recognizes JazzWorld’s contribution to digitizing Pakistan’s insurance sector, particularly its efforts to widen access to affordable and personalized coverage through technology. Khan said the company’s goal is to make financial protection as accessible as making a digital payment, adding that combining JazzWorld’s scale, JazzCash’s payment infrastructure and TPL Insurance’s underwriting expertise could help bring more Pakistanis into the formal financial and insurance system. As the country’s digital economy continues to develop, JazzWorld said it remains focused on using technology and strategic partnerships to strengthen financial resilience and make insurance more relevant and accessible to a broader customer base.
