Inaugural Founder’s Space Meetup Brings Together Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The launch of The Founder’s Space at Lincoln Corner Karachi, Liaquat Memorial Library Stadium Road, Karachi, drew in aspiring entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders. The event, dubbed “Exploration 1,” brought together a dedicated group of startup founders and community eager to network, learn, and find inspiration.

The afternoon was a hive of activity as founders from across various verticals exchanged ideas and forged new partnerships. The event underscored the growing appetite for collaboration and support within the local startup ecosystem.

The Founder’s Space is a joint venture, initiated and led by Kapeel Kumar, Javeria Faraz, Mahnoor Rizwan, Angel Imdad and Laraib Fatima.

A panel of industry experts delved into the challenges and opportunities facing Pakistani startups, moderated by Javeria Faraz. Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director at the National Incubation Center, highlighted government grants available to support entrepreneurs. Nida Athar, CEO of InnoVentures Global Private Limited, emphasized the importance of sustainable business models, advising startups to focus on generating revenue before seeking venture capital. Saif Ali, Program Manager at Orbit Startups, underscored the need for product-based businesses with scalability and independence.

To bolster its mission of empowering startups, The Founder’s Space announced strategic alliances with Inspired Solution, Print Eazy, and Live Bits, offering exclusive discounts on their services to member startups. These partnerships aim to equip entrepreneurs with essential tools and resources to accelerate growth. CW Pakistan is proud to be associated with Founder’s Space as a Technology Media Partner. 

The Founder’s Space team outlined their vision for a thriving startup ecosystem in Pakistan, committing to fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and growth. The organization aims to bridge the gap between startup founders, mentors, and investors, cultivating a dynamic and innovative entrepreneurial landscape in Pakistan.
