The GEW 2024 Community Walk, organized by Founders Space brought together entrepreneurs, students, and educators at Karachi’s Sea View on Sunday to kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024. Starting at 9:00 AM, participants embarked on a vibrant route from the Clock Tower to McDonald’s and back, engaging in meaningful conversations and exchanging innovative ideas along the way.

The walk served as a platform for networking, inspiration, and collaboration, fostering connections between aspiring entrepreneurs and established professionals. The scenic coastline provided the perfect setting for discussions that sparked new possibilities and energized the entrepreneurial community.

CW Pakistan was proud to be a Technology Media Partner for the event. The event was supported by partners like Pace College of Advanced Studies and Junior CEO Challenge, whose participation added depth and diversity to the gathering. Their involvement played a vital role in creating an inclusive space for ideas to flourish.

The GEW 2024 Community Walk was a collective effort in building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. It set the tone for a week dedicated to innovation and connection, inspiring participants to continue shaping the future of entrepreneurship in Pakistan.

about
CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
